The vehicle after the application alongwith the enclosuers is physically verified by the M/VI or the DTO and it found suitable it is issued. In some cases on test the genuinity of the documents are verified from the original issuing authority.
Approximate time frame needed : Not more than 7 days.
Remarks : Such vehicles are physically verified on every Wednesday in the office

The vehicle concerned has to be produced before the M.V.I on Wednesday in the office. If the physical inspection report is found suitable the Transfer is granted and is recorded in the R.C. Book which is then handed over to the transfers.
Approximate time frame needed : Maximun 5 days after the completion of all the aforesaid formalities.

Road Tax as per the Prescribed rate for different type of vehicle has to be paid before the date of expairy. It the date is expired the owner has to pay a delay fine @ 10/- for 15 days.
Procedure in brief for issue of such Certificate or License :

The owner has to come with the last Tax token to this office and consult the D/A alongwith the records to assess the pending Tax. Then the Tax so assigned alongwith the delay fine has to be paid in advance through the treasury challan against 0041 M.V .The original copy of the challan has to be enclosed with the form a alongwith the last Tax token paid. It the last tax token is lost Rs 10/- has to be deposited in addition .

ISSUE OF DRIVING LICENSE

One must fulfilled all the conditions as stated at 82 No. 7 . He has to appers for driving test with the vehicle of such class for which applied for all pass the test only then the D/L is issued

D/L is issued seperately transport vehicle and for N.T vehicle. For the transport vehicle one report from the P.S concerned is obtained regarding his moral change after .We also specify for what class of vehicle the license is issued.
Approximate time frame needed :

Maximum seven days after the driving test report is obtained from the M.V.I
Remarks :

On every Wednesday is fixed for tasting driving test day the Sr. M.V.I

 

 

 

 

RENEWAL OF DRIVING LICENSE

Form No.9 Challan for necessary fees,original D.L & copies of latest photographs medical report in forms No.1
Basic criteria of issue of Certificate/License etc :

Section 15 of the M.V.Act 1988. The genuinity of the original D/L is examined. In case of any doubt the same is referred to the original issuing authority and wait for one month. If the reply is favourable or no reply is received within one month the D/L so submitted is renewed and for 3 years in case of commercial for 5 years in case of private license.

Fulfilment of the the requirment as stated at SL No.7 are the basic. Criteria for renewal the original Driving License is also verified from the original issuing authority, in case of any doubt.

Fulfilment of all the conditions as laid down at SL No.7 and 9 are the basic criteria. The application alongwith all the necessary enclosures are examined carefully and if are found ok then the renewal is issued.
