The Local Complaint Committee under section 6(1) of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace

The District Magistrate of North Tripura has designated Nodal Officers across municipal and rural blocks to handle complaints of sexual harassment at workplaces. This action follows the Supreme Court’s directives under the 2013 Act, ensuring timely redressal by forwarding complaints to the Local Complaints Committee within seven days of receipt.
