Pradhan Mantri Adi Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAAGY)

Description:

The Pradhan Mantri Adi Adarsh Gram Yojana (PMAAGY) is a Central Sector Scheme initiated to transform villages with a significant tribal population into model villages (Adarsh Grams). This revamped version of the “SCA to TSS” scheme focuses on creating Village Development Plans (VDPs) tailored to the specific needs and potential of each village.

Implementation Period:

  * Start: Financial Year 2021–2022

  * End: Financial Year 2025–2026

Beneficiary:

In North Tripura District, 28 villages have been identified as beneficiaries under the scheme for the 2025–2026 financial year.
